the control knob to find the valve.(on firewall) If the heater core is leaking then you have a little bit harder fix than the heater valve. You can do it, though it takes more time. You have to remove the lower fascia and heating duct work. The cover for the heater core is in the center of the car. I can't find more details in this dumb book. Maybe someone else can help with details. It's been 10 years since my last core change and the mind is fuzzy.
