I should clean the AIC valve.. hopefully that will cure my little idle movement. The idle movement is so subtle though, I used to have a really bad hunting problem on my older 900.. this is really subtle luckily.
As far as I know, I dont have any vacuum leaks. As soon as I bought this car last year, one of the first things I did was to replace all of the vacuum lines with silicon. I reccomend this to anyone who has old lines. I found leaks which would have been very difficult to find otherwise. Since I've bought the car, I've also replaced many other things with new parts. Anything that has been questionable has been replaced so far. the car runs pretty darn good now :)
I know the part on the throttle body that you're refering to and I'll definitely check it out tonight. I know the "settling" effect you're referring to and my car does slow down somewhat when coming down to the lower rpms after revving. Around 1000rpm, the tach will show the engine's slowing descent. I hope that this means that the dashpot works but just needs an adjustment.
Should I clean the AIC with brakecleen? If that's not available, what else can I use? Thanks Monster!
