my car did that too. i have two questions. is this cut you are referring to bone jarring, almost like you hit the brakes quickly and let off? if so, then you might be hitting the overboost pressure switch. it is a pain in the ass to get to. it is located under the driver's side footwell. http://www.towensend.com has a good diagram of what it looks like. it takes a flatheaD SCREWDRIVER and if you can reach it (being a contortionist is good for this one) turn it clockwise a turn or two, it will increase the your ability to boost higher. it think it cuts out around 15 psi. so even if that's not what you're getting, i would crank her up anyway, so y00uo can eke out a few more psi from your apc. the next and most likely culprit is saprk gap. i had this problem. i would get bangin boost and then it would just drop right off. i replaced the bosch platinums with ngkbcp6es, gapped at .29. check your plugs and see if they are there. good luck!
