i was involved in an accident 2 days ago that took the life of my baby, my 87 900T. has anyone else been in an accident at 30-40mph?? what kind of damage was sustained?? both my headlights popped out, one turn signal, and the hood was tin canned. i hit the saturn in the very front passenger side, but with most of the front of my car. the damage is more severe on my front driver's side. i dove under, so my bumper was not crushed, it absorbed none of the impact. i estimated my forward speed to be 35mph. i had no chance to brake. i hit her full speed. i know that woithout seeing the actual damamge it is hard to gauge. if anyone can tell me how to post a pic to this board, i have them. what i want to know is this level of damage consistent in a saab at 35mph, with no bumper impact absorbtion? the at fault party's insurance company AIG (a**hole insurance group)is trying to suggest i may have comparative liability, meaning that my excessive speed contributed to the accident. let me add that the saturn was still runnig and the tow truck driver drove it onto his truck, so the impact couldn't have bee too damn fast!!! any help appreciated, and any 900 t's for sale in florida????
