Hi,
I have a 1989 900T Convertible that just started to stall out on me while driving to work(after running for 10 minutes). At first, the 'check engine' light would go on, it would lose power and then stall. It would start right away but anytime I put it into gear to move forward it would stall again. After about 15 minutes, the 'check engine' light went out and it seemed to run OK and I made it to work. On the way home, the same thing happened. I limped to my Saab Mechanic and he pulled the codes off the computer and took it for a test drive. The code he pulled off pointed to an idle mixture problem, that wouldn't coincide with the problem I was having. He test drove it twice the next day and found it running fine. On my way home from his shop it started doing it again. Although, it hasn't stalled like it did the first time. I’m just driving along and the 'check engine' light comes on and it hesitates/bucks for a few secondes and then seems OK for a few miles. Any ideas? It sounds like this could cost $$$'s trying to diagnose correctly.
Thanks
Norm
