Like Justin states, it depends on what you want the alarm to do.
I completely agree with him about the motion, glass breakage, etc not being needed. That is unless you plan on keeping your moonroof/windows down when you are away.
I have been a Clifford fan for a long time & have had a few of their systems. They also offer the pager function but it gets really expensive when you want it to do lot's of stuff. The one on my 87 SPG controls windows & moonroof seperatly up/down & has the other normal features that most good alarm systems have.
Personally, I think you #1 concern when picking out a system is finding a shop who you trust completely to do the work. That is if you were going to pay someone to install it. They usually carry good brands & can give you pointers on what you need. I would also only consider a company who has a lifetime warantee on the brain of the alarm. It's a complete PITA when a system breaks out of warantee & then you are better off paying for a complete new system, again. I made that mistake with a alpine alarm when I sold them, OOPS!!!!!
Hope it helps
