I have check most vacuum lines and the only one I have found not to hold vacuum is the line going to the turbo bypass valve. I am also having the low boost at the turbo gauge and there is a noise coming from the turbo region so I feel the bypass valve is defective.

I have a 88 900T so the evaporative canister has a vacuum operated valve. I tried getting to the top of it and the very tight quarters made it difficult.

today I plan on correcting the very slight fuel leak at the top of the 4th fuel injector and replace all of the vacuum lines I can find. If not success then I will take the car to a "professional". I miss driving the car too much to continue to this way.
