My car used to do the same thing. It' a 900T/88. It used to give me hell when shifting fast. So I learned quickly a very simple lesson: Don't do it! When you're in a gear and ready to shift up, press the clutch and wait for the RPMs to drop to an idle'ing speed before shifting up. It might cost you a couple seconds, but it'll save your transmission. Of course..you may just want to get a new tranny if you want race-like performance.
