Find a Harbor Freight nearby or visit a wrecking yard showroom and see what they use. (Same design) Harbor freight sells rolling engine stands for $39. They are basically a square of L-Bar steel with four upright corners and four casters. You can also just get a piece of plywood and mount general casters on it from a hardware store (rated by weight). I store engines and trannies all over the place and have more engines and trannies than cars. You can also resort to using really heavy cardboard and a friend if the distance isn't great. Remove all fluids from the engine/tranny and plug every hole you find. Keep it covered. Moisture is the biggest thing to avoid.
