actually is supposed to fix the clunk in the automatics when backing up. just did the kids 87 900S auto that had the clunk when backing up (an no it wasn't the calipers). seems the locktite will keep the INNER race from slipping on the spline. Just got the kids running again and no clunk when backing up now and was horrible before. Don't think it is needed for manual tranny equipt ones cause the clutch is disengaged when stopping in reverse, therefore no rotational load on the inner spline.
