Both Honda and Redline perform equally as well in my opinion. Honda is about half the price and easier to obtain, get it at Honda dealer. Honda is a semi-synthetic and I think Redline is a full synthetic. But if you have a new box, you won't have leaks switching to a synthetic.
It is all opinion. We can all agree that a standard 10W30 is not nearly as good as Redline or Honda MTL for the syncros. I switched from Redline to standard 10W30 once and hated the way it shifted. Then went to Honda MTL and have no regrets, but as I say, Redline is a great product as well.
Good luck
Tyler
