Simple fact, any oil is better than none. Saab recommends 10W30, but then again 0W-30 wasn't around then. I'm not posative, but before Mobil was forced to put out different viscosities of synthetic oil by competition, they were very vague about the exact viscosity of the only Mobil 1 product, however I believe it was a 15W-50. The 0W-30 is intended to be a "fuel saving" lubricant. As far as I have heard 20W50 Synthetic is recommended for the manual transmission.
Bottom line? Everything is good, as long as you keep it clean & keep it topped off. Some folks will have better results with one product over another, depending an different conditions, but people beleive what they want to beleive
