Thanks to all those who have given insight to my previous posting.

As usual nothing is as simple as it seems! Here goes my issue. I have a 88 spg, I think 165h.p.
--Last digits of APC 127
--fpr 2.5 bar
--distributor ending with 007

I want just a little more performance (ideally something like the 185h.p. 900turbos with red APC)

So I come across a new tuning kit upgrade form 1989 at a nearby wreckers, I look insided and get confused, the kit consists of:
--apc which is not red its black and the numbers end with 427 (175h.p.)
--2.5 bar fpr
--No distibutor it says that all 900 16v turbos have it already however the picture of the distributor shows one ending with 008

Can someone tell me what would be my best option?
-do I buy the kit and install it?
-do I buy a 3.0 bar fpr and fiddle with the APC as per black to red APC conversion web site?
-do I have the proper distributor and if not which one do I need?

Anyways, any and all input to this would be well appreciated. I'm starting to think its not simple piecing it all together maybe I should just leave the car alone it drives fine, but just a little more, and a little longer boost would be nice for passing that A-hole who once realizes he's being pasted decides to floor it to show you a point other than the one on his or her head.
