Thanks Kevin.
I'm wondering though about the oil, because for the last few oil
changes I've used the 15W-50. Some posts on here talk about it
being bad getting the engine used to one grade, and then going
down to a lower viscosity oil.
What are the benefits, if any of 15W-50 afterall? I did at least
notice that there is no more piston-slap when the engine is cold. :}
If the thicker oil is making more friction, is this friction that
is wearing the engine?
My car is the '88 900T hatch, currently with 117,000 on the clock.
Engine is rock solid so far.
thanks again,
Ryan
