dead short-should I?

Hello,
Well, I coundn't leave the short issue alone, so I pulled the seat and climbed under to get a better look. I didn't mention this in a earlier post, but I had an alarm installed about three years ago and I am pretty sure they wired power to the clock, since it has power all the time. I guess I have made some progress because now when I put the fuse in, it blows. So, here is when I need help. Do I
1. Take the car back to the alarm co. and have it repaired 2. take it to the dealer and let them explore.
3.Pull the knee boaster and try to fix it myself.
I am thinking I am going to call the alarm co. tommorrow and just see if they have had this happen (without blaming them) or should I avoid them and just have the dealer take care of it? Other then having the alarm installed, the electrical system is untouched.
Thanks,
KO
