From what I recall, you said earlier it was 25 amps. Maybe they went to a higher amp fuse when the alarm was installed. That would be a no-no.
Has the headliner been redone lately? Maybe one of the roof lights has a pinched wire. What about the switch between the seats, any bare wires.
I doubt the alarm company can or will do anything for you after three years. Maybe you're just covering all the bases.
As far as the dealer option goes.....hmmm. Could be very, very expensive with their labor rate and trying to find a short.
If you got the cohonies, jumper the two leads together and look for smoke. Very risky as it could take out other wires with it. You didn't hear this from me.
