Need to replace my gutted cat with a high-flow model. Looked at Carsound. I have the stock downpipe and a 2.5" cat-back system, so, forgive my ignorance, but if I buy a universal cat, should I get the 2.5" in/out or the 2.25" in/out. I'm not sure how these pipe ends meet up. Also, is there somewhere to get the 4 bolt flanges to weld onto the ends? Those on my existing "cat" are too deteriorated to re-use. What length should I get? It appears that the cat on there is about 16" from end of pipe to end of pipe. Is this the dimension they measure for length, or is it the "body" of the thing. Finally, is there anyone out there that sells a high-flow model pre-made with the flanges and all that would fit this system?
Thanks for your educational advice.
