vibration at highway speed, and a "clunk"

The car starts to vibrate at 65-68 mph and worsens when I accelerate. The vibration isn't a shimmy in the steering wheel, I feel it more through the floor. If I am driving at a slower speed and going over a hill (when you get that feeling in your stomach), the vibration reappears. It seems to come and go at times too, and disappears when I push the clutch in at highway speeds. I am thinking drive shaft, but would like to hear any other opinions before I tear things apart. If you have suggestions on what to fix, please let me know where I can get parts. Most recent repairs to the car are front brake shoes replaced.
"Clunk" Happens in front right brake when I apply the brake in reverse. Could this be due to turning the piston in too far on the recent brake job? Do I just need to pull the pads and turn the piston back out?
Thanks
