Possibly fabricate them into a vent you never use. I never use the left driver side vents so that would be an option for me. You could fit one in the headlight switch like 85sled or Jordan did, that's an option. How many more are you trying to fit? You could fit one in the driverside side window defroster vent.
If it's a daily driver I wouldn't mount it on the dash or the A pillar. I personally think it looks cheesy.
You know what would be killer, if someone designed a small LCD that would fit in a DIN space for a stereo that could monitor multiple parameters of an engine. It could maybe have a right and left switch to slide from screen to screen a set of measurement to another. You'd just have to buy which ever senders you wanted and setup the signals and their measurements. I've seen some crazy graphical headunits, so I believe it could be done and look great. It would absolutely be great for old classic project cars that don't normally have the warning lights and gauges. I wish I knew more about electronics:(
