See, I though the SPG came stock with a modified APC box (hence the 185 ponies). The boost gauge did peak into the red when I put my foot into it, so I would bet that at least that much of the car was working right.
So a stock '88 SPG/5spd should be about the same as my '86 9k / 5spd, all things being equal? I thought the 900's were significantly lighter than the 9k's; perhaps I was mistaken. Anyhow, loved how the SPG handled, and may just pick it up, provided I can convince my fiance we need more than one Saab!
