Still having Problems...HELP I THINK ITS DYING

The Car: '85 900s with 8valve and 180k miles
The Problem: Hesitation and misfiring, increasing in frequency over a couple of weeks time, then battery discharged and wouldn't start.
The Diagnostics: Low voltage off coil during cranking (5-6 V), compression test showed slight reduction in cylinder #1 (130) vs. 2-4 (160) and approximately the same increase in all cylinders when tested wet (ca. +30).
Checked out air filter, HC wires, distributor cap etc. everything OK...
however the plugs show light oil fouling...
What I've done: Replaced fuel distributor, cleaned injectors. Replaced alternator and ignition coil. attempted to clean out intake manifold using throttle body ether-based cleaner spray. Replaced oxygen sensor, added octane booster etc.
Where I'm at: The car now starts on its own but will only idle. It stalls when the throttle is opened and it doesn't really want to run well without backfiring through the intake ...
Does this indicate a timing problem???????????????// Hall sensor problems ???????????? Or maybe I should just take off the head and see what's going on inside???????????!!!!!!!! Thanks as usual for your help and comments...
