Help have just treated the car 89 900 T16, to a new set of HT leads and Distributor and rotor arm. Am now getting significantly less boost than before. Have had a quick poke around and can't see that I've disturbed the APC solenoid connections etc.
Have just fitted Split fire leads. They were the only ones I could find that actually had wire through them and hence might pass some current. Car runs fine arguably a bit quieter.
Are these leads possibly interfering with the knock sensor, or do I now have too much spark so the knock sensor is triggered. Have also recently fitted Champion EON1 plugs.
Leads are a bit long so might touch the cam cover plate but I can't see that it's going to arc.
Any ideas greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Peat
