It is not uncommon for no. 1 cyl. to start pushing the headgasket into ye chaincase. Since the main oil pressure for the cam(s) goes up the front right next to a coolant passage, a resulting crack in the gasket can cause pressure oiling of your coolant. Pull the cam cover and look down the chain case. Often you can see the head gasket protruding into the chain case 1/8" or more. In any event, when you get the head off, look for a crack in the gasket from the oil passage to to a coolant passage. If you find one, then, of coures check everything else ( head warped or cracked,etc.)but that is most likely the only problem other than flushing the coolant.
