I broke a return fitting on 91 900 a little while back and when I went to the dealership to get a replacement the mechanic was telling me that even if you have a check valve the fuel line will loose it's pressure over an hour or so. He said the FPR and check valve help but won't keep pressure over a long period of time. Is this true, I never checked?
I'm wondering b/c I was also told they updated the replacement check valve from the pin and plate to the ball and spring type and also relocated it from the return to the supply line. This would mean I replaced my check valve w/ the updated check valve w/o the ball and spring. Now I would have no check valve. I don't notice long starting. It does run a little rough at first but starts quickly.
