How do I tell if the chain has jumped on the teeth? I got it running before I knew about the broken guide, and it didn't run very good, made a lot of noise, and I shut it right off. Is there a way of looking at the cams to find out if it skipped or something? I read in past posts about "putting it at top dead center", but i have no idea how to do that, or what to look for after i have done that. I'm lost at this point. I'll go take out the p/s pump, the oil pump, and the H2O pump now.
