OK. Rear Speakers 90 Saab 900SPG. First and foremost, how the hell do you get the top panel/carpet/grill off in the rear. I've had the most trouble attempting to replace my rear speakers. I got one on without removing the top, but it took forever and I was only able to secure it with two screws because I cant rig the other two with out getting the top off. Took me 5 months to attempt to replace the other one because it was such a pain; but I cant eevn get to one of the nuts in the corner, so I'm not even gonna attempt it until I figure out how to get the top off. I pulled the two plastic tacks off, took the little plastic cover off the metal that holds up the trunk cover but it still wont come off. Is there something else I need to do here? I'm getting ready just to rip it off.
Also, this is a great one as well. Found my old Saab Head Cleaner kit the other day. Since my stereo was acting up(flipping play program and not playing) I decided to clean the Heads wiht the kit. Ran the cleaner for several minutes on both sides. Now the Deck wont take in a tape, refuses to insert and drop. Got angry and tried to jam it in ; now the Radio doesn't even work and it keeps making noise like it's trying to spit out the tape that's not in there. Ughh. I guess it's time to forget about the Equalizer(the only reason I keep the Factory stock) and move on with a new unit.
But most importantly I need to get at those rear speakers, any help here would be apreciated. Thanks A lot,John
