By "pitch" do you mean a whin- like the throw bearing whine on the cluth? Check ALL of your pulleys and belts!!!
Does it happen at idle or reving in 'N'?
If it's just vibration- I would check in this order;
1) Wheel balance (not just rotation)- and visually have the guys look for flat spots on the tires.
2) Alignment- and while they are down there- inpsect ball joints and rod ends- shocks are culprit, but the bushings are always dying (chk bushings on springs too). The rack may have flat spots- they will be able to manually accucuate the rack when the do an alignment- smae goes for steering column U-joint bearings- these wear and die!
3) Motor mounts!
Good luck!
