1st guess is right side wheel bearing, 2nd guess is left side wheel bearing. Quirky sometimes when they are just starting to go bad, the noise disappears when the bearing is loaded ie right side noise stops when turning left. If really bad, noise can get worse when loaded.
OK, Jack up both sides of front end, and remove wheels. Idle car in 3rd gear and get both rotors spinning(pry out brake pads a bit). Get a long screw driver and put tip on each front spindle behind rotor(bearing inside) and put ear to handle. You will hear rumble on bad side.
Job is DIY if you have a press or a friendly machine shop that will press out old and press in new bearings. Some claim to have done it with out press using freezer and oven, but I suspect urban legend. Search board for details.
