First look carefully around the hose clamp of the plastic coolant reserver ("expansion tank") in the driver side under hood. If you find coolant reside, give a bit torque using a socket wrench or screw driver. Then look at the radiator Fan Switch located near the top left corner of the Radiator (this is probably what your second mecha told you). If you find coolant or residue, you have to replace the packing (only $1 from local Saab Dealer). You may want to replace the Swith/packing (find at about $10 from reliable e-comm such as eeuroparts.com or thesaabsite.com) Drain some coolant from the Radiator (you need a 15/16" deep socket), pull out two lead wire connectors, remove the switch and replace the seal. If you do not find any residue in any of the hose clamps/switches, then you look around from underneath of your hood to narrow the site of coolant leak. If it leaks from near the fire wall, and you notice coolant droppping down from square metal case, in front of the driver, it is likely from the water pump. Get a water pump from a site above.
