You don't say where the coolant puddle is relative to the engine. If the coolant is dripping down near the rear of the engine (by the firewall), the most likely culprit is the water pump or the hoses leading to it.
If the coolant is dripping down near the front of the engine, be sure to check the small rubber hose elbow on the front of the engine. It gets pretty hot and tends to be the first hose in the system to fail. Another place to check that wasn't mentioned by the others is the section of coolant hose that leads to the throttle body. Freeze plugs on the right side of the engine (under the exhaust manifold) can also rust through and leak.
The best thing to do is put it up on jack stands (or up on a lift at a shop) and get under with a good light and take a careful look. Leaking coolant will usually leave a tell-tale path that is pretty distinctive.
