Never tried it, but sounds like pressure bleeding like many shops do...
Use a regulator set to low pressure, or be VERY careful... You may blow seals or that hose which goes from the reservoir down to the clutch master cylinder. Too much pressure and the bleeding will go too fast & you'll empty the reservoir. On second thought, if you can't regulate the air to a low pressure, don't do this.
Don't use an air nozzle which might shoot a jet down into the reservoir. This would just splash the fluid around, you don't want to aereate the fluid.
Be certain that the air is dry. Not all compressors have a very good dryer so you could get moisture into the brake fluid which is bad.
