do something about the cable tie soon! The "in" side is less flexible than the "out" (which is where mine split), as it comes across the top of the tank and is a real bear to get to if something does happen. The biggest pain is actually getting the new end of the fuel tubing to go over the ends of the nipple. You have to dunk the end in hot water (being careful not to get water back up the line !!!!!!), and force it over the end. You simply don't have the hand strength required. I ended up drilling an 8mm hole 1/2 inch deep into a block of wood, butting the male to mal extension piece into the hole and jammed the wood up agains the botton of the car. This way, the nipple is held fast while you use both hands to force the tubing on. It works...but what a pain. I then put a circulat clamp on to hold it all on place under pressure. DO NOT over-tighten the clamp, as you'll go right through the tubing...and have to start all over again!
Good luck
Chris
