It's new, and doing what it should. I just unplugged the O2 sensor and the idle went back to normal. What's weird is that this O2 sensor has been in for almost a month with no problems, then it spontaneously goes bad? I don't get it. But, does an O2 sensor sound like a possible culprit here?
What's weird is that voltage off the O2 sensor with it unplugged is a rock-solid .54v, which I think means the mixture is dead on, or close to. Plugging it back into the computer basically nukes its output - it basically starts dumping a non-sensical voltage, like .0v or .2v or something terribly low. Could it be something like a bad ground on the O2 sensor?
Since this is an S, replacing that sensor means crawling under the car. I was hoping not to do that this weekend. Any other thoughts before I get on the work clothes? :)
