I have an 84 900 Turbo w/ 8valve H-type motor and APC. When purchased, i put in a new clutch and fuel lines, and took care of a few small fuel leaks. It started ran and drove excellently the first 8-9 mos, then it started running really rough below about 50 degrees F. this has gone on for six months, and i've replaced the fuel filter, air filter, cleaned the injectors, secured all fuel lines with teflon tape, turned the boost up on the turbo to maximum(but am netting only mid-orange pressure, and i've never heard it knock), but the problem has worsened to the point that getting the car started is 50/50, at best. I then replaced the dist. cap, wires, plugs, and the rotor (several times, they keep breaking!) all to no avail. the plugs seem to have a thin coating of thinned motor, but the car isn't consuming oil. That's confusing problem #1.
