Yes, chocolate milk oil is a sign of coolant and oil mixing. A steam cleaned piston is a sure sign of burning coolant. I hope it is just a bad gasket. If the car was overheated the head may have warped though. You can check for a warped head at home easily. Undo camshaft bearing caps, remove the cs and pull the cam followers out. Replace the cs, and tighten the bearing caps down (they dont have to be real tight). If the cs can be spun easily, with no followers, and tight caps the head is ok. If not, it doesn't necessarily mean the head is warped, it does mean that you have some more dectective work ahead of you. everyone here is probably sick of me posting this but check my website and see if the symptoms are like yours... http://hometown.aol.com/dfq193e7/index.html
