Tire guys for help- vibration... longish

So I get a new set of rubber: Cooper Cobras, 205/60/15s on 15" asymetrical wheels. I know- should have got 205/55, but I'm already too low and the CV is heavy!
The ride is great- handles well, but I get vibration at 45-55 mph. I brought it back to where I got them mounted- they rebalanced and said they were off .25 OZ. Fixed? Same problem persisted- the guy pulled the tires off and checked the wheels alone- he said they were perfect and put the tires back on and balanced again.
Of course I did the front (along with a new rack) at the same time.
Same issue! The front-end mechanic says his shit is tight (and I trust him and even watched the machine as they did it), and the balance guy says the wheels are balanced. So what the hell?
Ball joints are 15K old- the rack is new with new ends. Shocks have 15-20K and the rubber and mounts appear good. The springs are 8K old with new poly bushings (SD). A-frames appear solid too.
Could it be the tires- defective? Could it be the size? This was not present with the old tires- but they were so shot, it was difficult to feel any of the suspension.
Thanks in advance!

120K (which reads 220K, but I watch it roll to 220K when it was trying to roll to 120K- so much for resale?! :)
