I was wondering if there was anything that I could do to examine the state of corrision in my engine. My 2.1L has 121k on it, and to my knowledge (bought @ 88k) has never had a headgasket done. I need to replace my rad this summer when I return to FL, it has a small leak in the upper left. I have been thinking of having a compresson test done, to see if the gasket is leaking, but i have no reason to suspect it is. I have considered draining the block to see how much crud is in there. I always change the coolant every 2 years, but have never opened up the block drain :-(
Thanks
