OK....so it's flooding and the excess fuel is pooling inside the intake manifold I'd remove the cold start valve (injector near the throttle body) and do a spray pattern/leakage check. With it removed have someone try and start the car, it should produce a nice conical shaped pattern. If the pattern looks good then you might have leaky injectors. Remove them and jumper the fuel pump. Check to see if they leak a little when you cycle the power on, they shouldn't. My 83-900T had a hard starting problem as a result of leaking injectors. To do a spray pattern test point all the injectors in some sort of container, turn the fuel pump on, and lift the air mass sensor plate. The air mass sensor is a aluminum circular plate located under the big black boot on top of the fuel distributor. Be careful you're messing around with really dangerous stuff here....
Make sure you turn the allen screw back to where it was initially.
You should also get a Bentley manual.
