First of all, "park position" is a very flexible word. When you loosen up the front latches, what happens?
Does the front lip jump up at all or does it stay down?
When you close the top, does it slam the guide pins into the holes or do they not line up with the holes when the motor have done it's job? (force run the motor in close position)
I don't know how to explain where to find the excentric adjusting bolts, but I always have the top closed and unlatched when I do the adjustment.
The bolts are not DOWN by the 1/4 window but more BEHIND it at what is called C pillar on a hard roof car. It's a 13mm nut between conv top fabric and frame and a 5 or 6 mm Allen hole on the other side for the adjuster Allen key. You loosen the nut up and turn the Allen bolt around and it will lift or lower the front edge and move it back and forth depending on what side the excentric part is on.
