First, Gas prices. Do the math. If you run a lot of miles. Total up the number of miles you will cover in a year divide by 30 and then multiply it by 0.20. That is generally the difference around here on premium over regular. Is it a big number? Does it maybe relate to about one lunch at BK/week? Probably. The added cost of fuel is negligible especially when you add in the cost of changing cars. You have sales tax, license. Insurance would probably be a lot less. Do the math on what these would cost and see what the differenmce would be. I would think it would be a wash especially when you figure in the BATH you will take on the selling price. If you like the car, adjust to it being your car instead of your museum piece (maybe Dr. Fraser Crane can help here). Is it worth 5 large to change cars when you have a cream puff anyway? If you need more convincing, Ari on the 9k board really put it well. I cannot find the link anymore, though. We should ask Scott to put it in the FAQ.
