here are a list of preventative maintenance items to check for:
a. make sure turbo bypass valve is good.
b. clean aic valve.spray with valvoline syntec throttle and carburator cleaner and watch the dirt come poring out. let dry. lubricate with wd-40. let dry. re-install.
c. make sure all hose connections are good with no cracks in hoses.
d. make sure pcv nipple and rubber gasket/grommet are good. on top of valve cover.
e. there is a rubber gromett that is on the side of the black air tubeing that leads to the turbo bypass valve that comes loose also. fits into a round hole on the side of the air tubeing.
f. clean your throttle body and valve out. very easy. get some valvoline syntec carburator and throttle body cleaner and a old toothbrush. spray the valve and throttle housing. clean with toothbrush. wipe clean with a small clean towel. you can get a long thin screwdriver with the towel at the end and get the residue out.
g. hose on charcoal canister, make sure it is good. sits below the apc box in the drivers side fender.
h. make sure temperature sensor is good. sits in between your fuel injectors and has a connection like a fuel injector.
all of these could be possible problems. do the items that you do not have to spend hardly any money first, then go from there. i hope this works!!!!
