1. grooves of 2mm to 3mm will possibly give you the wobble if you put them back on the same side they came from. One old trick is to just swap sides for the drivers. Put the left on the right and the right on the left.
2.I usually place a brass drift on the plate that attaches to the trans. from underneath and tap it until the plate swivels then do it back and forth several times and then it comes out.
3.The drivers are the same except for the plates the left holds the speedo gear. The axle shafts have different part numbers left and right but the cv joints and tripod bearings are the same. Not sure if the axle shafts can be interchanged just know the numbers are different.
4. Myself I would swap the tripod. Remember to put the beveled edge the same direction on the shaft because if you put in on upside down the clip will never go on.
5. Myself I would tear it apart and repack it the with grease and put a new boot on.
