Could be a lot of things. Bad battery is only 1 possiblility.
How is the alternator?
How many miles on the car? How long since the alternator brushes & voltage regulator have been changed?
How much current does the car draw when it is parked & off (to power radio memory, clock, security, etc)?
Have you checked the voltage when the car is running? I use a VDO guage mounted in a little box with a plug into the lighter. I can remove the thing, but it's handy to test voltage.
Are all wires connected where they should? Any loose connections? Check the Grounds, too. See around alternator, battery, grounds on front brace, etc.
Have a look at those things and you may zero in on an answer.
