Here's my 2 cents:
1) its worth using Superflush- you will notice cooler operation right off the bat. Not because of removal of "pluggage" but because the heat transfer surfaces are cleaned of oily residue that slows heat transfer. Flush AFTER running with Superflush- you have to get it out of the cooling system.
2) put the tee on the return heater hose, you want to flush the heater core, which has a fair inventory of coolant. You can just add water to the expansion bottle while you flush.
3) definitely get the 82C thermostat and the 82C thermoswitch. They go hand-in hand. It's a no brainer. You will normally run a bit cooler, and it will be easier to "catch" overheating before it can do some real damage.
4) flush often. That's the single best thing you can do for your cooling system. I know- who wants to flush when it costs $12 or $20 or whatever price MB coolant is? Extended life coolant (orange) is $6 and it is MB coolant without pH buffers. I would rather flush once a year and use extended life coolant than flush every two years using MB.
