Well I was unawear what the substance is that is in envirosafe untill you brought it up. From the research I found this stuff is not propane. Propane is used in some refrigerents. This perticular one does not seem to be that way. It is purfectly legal as long as you don't mix with R12 - but it is a direct drop for 134a - my understanding is you can put in right over 134 - but I am not positive.
This substance is Flamable at temps obove 1500 digrees f but then again 134a is also flamable (obove 400 digrees) if mixed with the lubercant used in 134a a/c systems.
So I guess you have a trade off - 134a causes tumers - if you are exposed, and envirosafe is formula that could catch fire if exposed to very high temp flame.
What is better - I don't know but with the current information I have i personaly like enviro-safe better. unless i overlooked something realy bad about enviro-safe.
If you find some online facts I would love to find out more information about enviro-safe
Thanks
Adam
