First be sure you don't have a big vacuum leak (unlikely). LH 2.4.2 is pretty good about "learning" how to overcome small leaks, etc. to maintain an appropriate air:fuel ratio. Another sensor to consider is the NTC; it cause mix to be richer when cold, leaner when warm.
The most likely problem is either the AMM or O2 sensor. You can manipulate the fuel mix by taking off the vacuum line to the FPR and attaching to a vacuum pump (Mightyvac, etc.). (Plug the opening at the intake manifold.) Creating and releasing vacuum (10 to 15 mm Hg) to the FPR will significantly change fuel delivery.
Get the engine to operating temperature. (You can check the NTC while it is warming up.) Monitor the O2 sensor while you create and release vacuum to the FPR. If you see minimal change in the O2 sensor output, assume the O2 sensor is faulty and replace. Check the AMM for "burn off". The wire glows red for a second or so after shutdown. Failure means the AMM is bad. You can still have a problem even if it passes this test (although less likely). There is no way to monitor the AMM output. If all else fails, consider replacing with known, good AMM.
