Those things don't move around at all? Shimmy and shake while you drive?
Nice pic of that virgin center console, it's just asking for a pair of woofers.
My buddy years ago had a Mazda 626 i think, it had an 8" sub right inside the center console. Of course it sounded like @#$%, but the idea is great. I'm also planning on door pods, I'm not really happy about it, but I have a 1994 Acura Legend and the front door speakers make the whole system. If I can craft some pods, I want to mount some shifty tweeter a la Irie style. Keep crafting, I hope I can make NESA in June.
By the way, how do the 8" subs sound and what do you have pushing them? I want to move down to a single 10", i'm looking at a dual voice coil Blau or JL 10W3, right now I have a single Blau overdrive dual voice 12" in a bandpass with a 2000 model Fosgate Power 200a1, it runs about 450 watts right now with the 2 ohm setup, way too much bass. Everytime a big note hits my hair moves with the breeze from the sub. How can the homies stand it?
