I've been looking into the spring manufacturer and supplier for sweden to figure out who's who and what springs are available. Fred Lane emailed in response to my last post and supplied me w/ some info. Then from there trying to work out the bits and pieces. The springs listed in my table under Roadhandling are actually Ventura springs ( a danish brand). The interesting part is that they almost perfectly fit the desc of the roadhandling springs in the book (number of coils, thinner coils) and since there were three different rear coils available I figured it could of fit the gap in years. Currently I'm still looking into it to prove the fact. Any help would be appreciated b/c it's very difficult. Lesjofors makes a couple springs, they make all the factory springs and an aftermarket set (30mm lower). Fred had ordered a set from Elks and the springs received did not match any OEM specs but the packaging was also labeled Ronneby. On contact, he found that Ronneby picked up the manufacturing or occasionally supplement their springs. Are the spec's the same, who knows. I've been in contact w/ Jouko he might be measuring his Lesjofors aftermarkets. So that will help comparison. In addition, B+G is made by Lesjofors but their specs do not match to anything listed above(SD's). I didn't get the actual ID of both sides but from the numbers the B+G rep had stated(the only measurments he had), he stated a change in the ID that would create a conical ID which would create a progressive spring.

So all and all there are a few variable sport Lesjofors springs out there but the roadhandling kit in the books compares vary closely to the danish Ventura springs. I know some people out there have the actual roadhandling kit so if anyone can clear this up it would be great!
