I just reported what sounds like a similar problem here:
http://www.saabnet.com/tsn/bb/900/index.html?bID=184326
My car is at the mechanic as we speak for some idle adjustments, and i also asked him to check the exhaust system to see if a bracket/hanger can be adjusted to avoid the contact. I just had a new catalytic converter put on, so i think this is the source of the problem.
I'll report back later if that is indeed the problem. If it's not that, then my next guess is the shocks, but i don't hear the sound when i go over a bump, it's just when pulling out from a starting position, as well as when i turn left at low speeds and have my foot on the accelerator. If your car is a 5 speed, when you hear the sound if you depress the clutch does the sound go away (mine does)?
