Just p/u my car from the mechanic and he was real busy and he didn't personally work on the car so i didn't have time to ask him exactly what was done, but i told him to look at the exhaust and its brackets to see if that was the source of the noise.
Beforehand, if i grabbed the tailpipe and moved it a little back and forth, i could hear the pipe hit the end of a bolt somewhere along the system (i think the catalytic converter was hitting a bolt that was hitting sticking out from the hanger bracket). Now when i move the tailpipe i don't hear anything, except a little creaking noise which is fine, so i suspect that was the problem.
Hopefully that's the source of your noise too (as it was the EXACT same problem), as it shouldn't cost you anything/much to get it fixed.
